I received a surprise letter from Julie today. What could this be? More last-minute revisions? I ripped it open and to my surprise, an avalanche of art samples spilled out. The graphics reminded me of my favorite t-shirts and CD designs--almost art nouveau in nature. Here's the deal. HarperCollins is approaching a fancy London design team to collaborate on the cover for my book. Nothing is set yet...but I would be thrilled if this goes down. All this time, I believed that the publisher would design the cover "in house." I didn't realize that they could team up with somebody else. Can you tell that I'm freaking out?

In fact, I'm jumping up and down.
